Super Junior’s Magic Is Tremendous

Super Junior’s (SuJu) magic is tremendous. For the sake of watching this Korean boyband, hundreds of teenagers were willing to queue up at Grand Indonesia since the dawn on Sunday (17/4).
They wished to get the Tribune 2 ticket which costs 550000 IDR. But some of them had to accept the disappointment because the cheapest tickets were sold out soon after the stands opened at 10am. As scheduled, SuJu itself will perform on the upcoming June 4th.
Desty, one of the fans from Kalibata was one of the fans who was disappointed, because she couldn’t get the ticket she wished for. “(I) have been queuing since 7am, (and) I couldn’t get a ticket. I want the Tribune 2 which is 550000 IDR. I left home at 5:30am, (but) apparently there were people who slept on the parking field since 3am. The event committee has given the queuing number. I thought that the ticket would start selling at 10am, but apparently at 10am (they) only had to pay,” she said, sighing.
Desty admitted that she liked the boyband SuJu because their voices are good. “Their dancing is also good. (They’re) also handsome. Since elementary school I liked to watch Korean film. When SuJu debuted, (I) liked them right away. Once I listened to them, (I) took note of the lyrics, listened frequently, and memorized them,” said the teen who admitted that she memorized 10 SuJu’s songs.
Tita who lived at Fatmawati area, also admitted that she was disappointed because she couldn’t get the ticket. “Actually (I) wanted to buy Tribune 2, but it has been sold out. The price of Tribune 1 ticket keeps changing, and the information on Internet is not very clear, so I’m confused,” she said.
Rina and four of her friends were lucky. “(We) put in great effort to get it. We’ve been queuing since the dawn, we now get the payment receipt, we only have to pay. If (we) can meet (them), (we) want to give them hats, ask for signatures, and also take pictures together,” she explained.
Super Junior or also known as SuJu/SJ is a Korean boyband which consists of 13 members, namely Leeteuk, Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryewook, Kibum, dan Kyuhyun.
They will be the main performer on the Korean Idols Music Concert Hosted in Indonesia (KIMCHI) event which will be held at Istora Senayan, on the upcoming June 4th 2011. The tickets are sold in various types, such as VIP (2500000 IDR), Festival 1 (2000000 IDR), Festival 2 (1500000 IDR), Tribune 1 (2000000 IDR), and Tribune 2 (550000 IDR).
According to Sean Sudwikatmono, W Production’s Managing Director, on the press conference of KIMCHI 2011, for fans from other cities, the promoter will provide online ticketing service. “The online tickets will be sold after the public sales, and hopefully they are not sold out yet”, he said.
The rapidly sold-out ticket can be a proof that K-Pop or the music from Korea have never had a lack of fans. Korean music has now become one of the well-loved genres other than Indonesian music and western music.
It is known that before this, K-Pop fans also have been waiting for Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, and Kim Junsu who are gathered together in JYJ. The tickets for the show at Sentul on April 9th have also been sold online. However the boyband’s management cancelled the concert in Indonesia in the end, with the reason that the promoter who brought them to Indonesia, Dreamcatcher Indonesia (DCI), was not very professional. Other than Indonesia, CJes Entertainment, who is JYJ’s management company also cancelled the concert in Singapore.

Super Junior To Hold "Super Show 4"

It was recently announced on SMTOWN's Official Facebook page that Super Junior would be bringing their extravagant "Super Show 4" concert to Japan at the Tokyo Dome on May 12 and 13.
While Super Junior has not promoted in Japan and had their official debut, around 100,000 fans are expected to be in attendance. Previously, they sold out their Osaka Dome concerts last year on December 10 and 11, bringing together over 80,000 fans.
For their stops in Taiwan, they had set a new record by selling all 30,000 seats for the two concert dates in 17 minutes. They will perform at the Taipei Arena in Taiwan from February 2 to 5 followed by performances at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from February 18 and 19. More concert stops in other locations such as the U.S. and Latin America have also been talked about.
Meanwhile, Super Junior came out as one of the big winners from the 26th Golden Disk Awards, taking the "Disk Daesang," "Disk Bonsang," "Popularity Award," and "MSN Japan Award."
On January 16, As One is releasing their comeback track, “Only U,” which is their first single since the 2008 singe, “Love is Only You.” They signed a new management contract with Brand New Music this year, joining prominent hip hop artists such as Verbal Jint, Skull, and Phantom.
As One also had their comeback performance on KBS "Music Bank" today, giving a live perofrmance of "Lie."

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul Dumped By His Celebrity Girlfriend?

On the episode of SBS’s Strong Heart aired on June 6, Kim Heechul confessed about his previous relationships.
Kim Heechul confessed, “Like many misunderstand, I had girlfriends in the past. I may disappoint you, but I had a girlfriend even after my debut. Actually, my girlfriend was a celebrity.”
“But I always got dumped. My ex-girlfriend dumped saying, ‘Do you really love me?’ ,” added Kim Heechul. Lee Young Ah, Kim Heechul’s best friend explained, “Heechul is a good guy as a friend, but he doesn’t know what to do with his girlfriend.”
Kim Heechul said, “I’m always shy around my girlfriend and if she gets mad at me I just kiss her. And I spend long time picking a present, but when delivering it, I tend to throw it to her.” His dating style received boos and jeers from the actresses on the show.
To the question, “Do you have no problem letting your girlfriend go if she wants to break up with you?” Kim Heechul answered, “I have to let her go. I cannot hold her back although I don’t want to let her go.” He continued, “Sulli is 11 years younger than I am and she says, ‘I just need to avoid guys like you, right?’”
Kim Heechul said, “In 2010, I went out with a celebrity and I talked with my boss and press agent beforehand to write an article that I had chased after her if scandal breaks out. It was my way to protect her because once media finds out about dating, it is always female celebrity who gets bigger damage.”
He added, “In the meanwhile, I was inattentive to my girlfriend. When she called me because she missed me, I would go ‘I’m in the middle of the meeting’ and at the end, I got dumped. I’m single now, but I wouldn’t know what to do when I have a girlfriend in the future.”
Another member of Super Junior, Shindong joked, “Women tend to think that they can change Kim Heechul. They try to change him for about 3 months and they give up: they dump him.”

"Super Junior" Appears As A Word To Learn Korean In A Book

Super Junior's leader, Leeteuk, uploaded recently four pictures onto his Twitter account, each one of them showing pages from a Thai book displaying the word "Super Junior" as a way to learn the Korean Language.
But it looks like now we know who Hyorin’s partner is as local media reported she finished filming her episode with Super Junior’s Sung Min. An official from MBC told TV Report, “Sung Min and Hyorin finished recording their part for ‘Exciting Shake’ at the Nam San National Theater.”
Exciting Shake” will air during the Lunar New Year holidays. The concept of the show is similar to “We Got Married,” where celebrities are paired up with each other to create a simulated dating relationship.
The four phrases state: "Super Junior will go to Thailand tomorrow", "I like Super Junior's choreography", "I will wait for Super Junior" and "I wanna meet Super Junior soon".
He proudly stated: "The content in this Thailand's book for learning Korean language" and uploaded the four links at once.
A funny fact of his tweet is that he uploaded the four links in just one tweet with no spaces. So fans started teasing him saying things like: "Hey Ahjussi, use the space bar!", "Ahjussi, ahjussi, you don't know where's the space bar?" and also: "Cool!, I want that book too!" and "I thought at first that the link wasn't working, good way to save space eh?", the replies, caused a good laughter among fans and also showed how close are Suju's fans to their leader.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk Recently Became A Father

Super Junior’s Leeteuk recently became a father. He was selected as an MC for a childcare program, KBS JOY’s Super Junior and SISTAR’s Hello Baby. Leeteuk will raise a baby on the program.
The producer of the program explained the reason he chose Leeteuk is he looks like he will get married soon.
On the 24th, Leeteuk attended the press conference for the show.
Leeteuk and SISTAR members will raise a baby together and experience the role of parents. While they raise the baby, they will also learn many things about their lives.
Leeteuk said, “I thought I could practice being a father prior to my real marriage life through the show. I wanted to experience raising a baby since I was a boy.”
Leeteuk, however, doesn’t have any experience raising babies before. According to him, his parents said that he should raise a baby so that he will understand how hard his parents worked to raise him. Super Junior’s other members were worried about Leeteuk, but he was still confident. He said, “I’ve been raised a cat for four years. I will take care of the baby like I did to my cat.”
At the conference, the father and four mothers were taking good care of the baby even though they are young.

Meanwhile, Super Junior is currently preparing for their concert in Taiwan next month as part of their “Super Show 4 World Tour.” The concert will be held on February 3-5 at the Taipei Arena. Tickets went on sale on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day and sold-out within minutes. On New Year’s Eve, 10,000 tickets were released for sale and sold out in 30 minutes, while 20,000 tickets were sold out within 17 minutes the next day.
