Super Junior World Tour "Super Show 4" Heated Up Their Fans

Back in October, we reported that Super Junior would embark on a worldwide concert tour called “Super Show 4“. Additional details about their upcoming tour were revealed today through K-media press releases regarding their next stops and song list.

The boys will kick off their tour in Seoul on November 19th and 20th at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul. Afterwards, they will move onto Japan for performances at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka for December 10th and 11th. Super Junior will then ravel to other Asian cities before reaching major American and European cities.

“Super Show 4″ will include all of Super Junior’s latest songs from their 5th studio album, incorporating their usual glamourous stages, gags and high quality performances to touch their fans’ hearts.

Super Junior, the immensely popular K-pop band that has led the Korean wave to reach a global phenomenon, launched their latest concert tour Super Junior World Tour Super Show 4 in Seoul, Korea on 19 and 20 November 2011. Fans from Singapore will be thrilled to know that the concert will reach our shores on 17 February 2012, as confirmed by concert organiser, Running Into The Sun today.

“We’ve witnessed the massive appeal of Super Junior when they were here for Super Show 3 earlier this year; and how it broke all boundaries to attract fans across all age groups and demographics,” said Beatrice Chia-Richmond, Creative Director of Running Into The Sun.

“Running Into The Sun aims to bring acts that break new ground and challenge our creativity, so we’re more than thrilled to have confirmed Super Show 4 in Singapore.” Super Junior World Tour Super Show 4 is expected to entertain Singapore audiences with nothing but the best from the leading K-Pop boy band. When asked during the press conference today what fans from Singapore can look out for in Super Show 4; the leader of the group, Lee Teuk, said that he remembers that Singapore fans sent a lot of love when they were there and he’s excited to be able to meet the fans at Super Show 4 in Singapore, on a stage – more dynamic and the biggest-scale ever yet – that would bring them even closer than before.

Super Show 4 in Singapore will be the first stop across Southeast Asia, with a limited 10,000 tickets available for sale from 14 January 2012, 10.00am for a one-day priority booking period for OCBC Card members, the official card for the concert. Members of the public will be able to purchase tickets from 15 January 2012, 12.00pm onwards. All tickets will be made available via Sistic phone, counter and online bookings, and each transaction is capped at a maximum of 4 tickets, an endeavor by Running Into The Sun to prevent any bulk buying and reselling.

Super Show 4 will see a huge stage with three runways, two main stages and one giant water fountain for a 360-degree view that will offer an up close and dynamic view of the show from all areas of the stadium. Apart from sprawling LED screens, pyrotechnics and aerial stunts from the group, special water effects will take centre stage as one of the many highlights of the concert.

The three-hour long concert promises to bring the entire original show from Seoul, which will showcase Super Junior’s famous dance moves that have created a worldwide craze, catchy songs that will prove that language is no barrier, and their familiar cheeky and charismatic antics that promises to entertain throughout the concert.

Super Junior’s world tour “Super Show 4” heated up Thailand for three days from March 16-19. The world tour was held in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and Macau so far.

The Thailand leg of the tour had a total of 40,000 viewers. Due to the popularity of the concert, one more concert day was added. This is the first time that a foreign singer or group held a concert that went on three times. Also, it is the most viewers that a foreign singer or group has amassed for a concert.

For the concert, Super Junior performed 36 songs which included their hit singles, album songs, and also solo performances.
