Super Junior is also one of the older idol groups now, with over five years of experience together. Will Super Junior ever be able to break Shinhwa’s record?
Super Junior’s Leeteuk showed his respect for Shinhwa through a special message. On March 23, Leeteuk tweeted, “Shinhwa hyungnim! You guys are so awesome! We’ll do our best to love and care for each other, too! Be nervous! Super Junior is catching up to you guys!”
Shinhwa is the longest-running idol group in K-Pop with a 14 year history. Since their debut in 1998, Shinhwa has released countless hit singles, including “T.O.P.,” “Chaos,” and “Hey! Come On,” under SM Entertainment. They worked under the same label as Super Junior until 2003, when Shinhwa’s contract expired and signed with a new management agency.
On March 23, Super Junior’s Yesung shared a family photo with his father and brother, under the caption that read, “The guys in our family, with my father and younger brother. Are we superior?”
In the photo, Yesung is staring at the camera with his father and younger brother, who all have strikingly similar features. Fans have been particularly impressed by his good-looking family members, lauding them for having “superior genes.”
Netizens commented, “Yesung’s brother is daebak! Is he also a celebrity?” “They’re so cute. I love his younger brother,” and “How can brothers have such good-looking faces?”
In fact, this is not the first time Yesung revealed his younger brother. He took several photos with celebrities in the past and is also quite well-known among Super Junior fans that frequent Yesung’s coffee shop in Seoul (Yesung’s younger brother works there). With only 4 performances left to its finale at Tokyo Dome, it will be interesting to find out what will be their next step for the latter half of 2012.
The tour first began in Korea kicked off in November 19 which tickets sold out in just 8 minutes while some vendors reported 180 seconds. The tour has been scheduled over 7 countries for 19 performances for over 5 months.

His job will be to interview fans in the audience and provide coverage of the overall atmosphere of the live recording studio during the March 23 episode. There are only three contestants left for the show.
“We picked Eunhyuk as a one day MC based on his good sense of humor and witty demeanor that he developed over his long experience as a DJ and assistant MC,” MBC said in statement.
MBC “Star Audition 2” has been seeing its TV ratings decline lately. It’s been criticized for its lack of intensity and the shortcomings in the MC’s hosting skills. Park Mi Sun recently replaced the original host, Oh Sang Jin, however, the show has not lived up to the anticipation, especially compared to the huge success it enjoyed for its first season.
Also, MBC has taken note of the good chemistry between Yoon Do Hyun and Boom on SBS “K-Pop Star,” prompting the producers of “Star Audition 2” to find an emergency help to assist Park Mi Sun during the live show.
The top 3 competition of MBC “Star Audition 2” will air at 9:50 PM KST. Stay tuned for more updates!

Heechul kept himself strong as other Super Junior members shed tears. In his farewell speech, he said: "This is my last stage before entering the army. It is great to receive such a special award before I leave. Leeteuk is going through a difficult time lately but I am always thankful to him and other members. I love you, all of my fans. Thank you to our managers who put up with my bad manners up until now. This is the end because I am one who is not good at expressing."
Fans need not be too sad, however, as Heechul recorded a song with legendary singer Kim Jang Hoon. It was reported that the song will be released in mid-September.
