Super Junior Surpassed Half-Million Copies With Album ‘Mr. Simple’

Popular group Super Junior surpassed 500,000 copies with their fifth album ‘Mr. Simple’ released last August, marking the group to be album king for three years in a row from 2009.

According to Gaon Chart released today, ‘Mr. Simple’ that was released August 3 of last year sold a total of 502,830 copies by the end of March, hereby marking Super Junior to keep their position as album king for three years in a row.

Super Junior’s record of half-million sales is subsequently achieved by Kim Gun Mo’s 8th album ‘Hestory’ in 2003 and TVXQ’s fourth album ‘MIROTIC’ in 2008, it’s expected that Super Junior is to vitalize the stagnant music market. Marking the group to be the third artist to have achieved this album sales record.

The album topped all Korean music charts as well as various overseas charts including Taiwan, Thailand, and the Philippines. A new record was set by ‘BONAMANA’ topping the Taiwanese KKBOX chart for 63 weeks in a row, and now is continuing to reign as number one for 34 weeks in a row with ‘Mr. Simple.’

Super Junior gathered over a total of 500,000 audiences through their Asia Tour held over 3 times in 2008, 2009 and 2010. The group truly proved and lived up to their reputation as global hallyu king not only in album sales alone but also through successful sold out shows.

Super Junior was the first Korean group to hold a successful concert in Paris with 7,000 fans at Le Zenith de Paris on April 6. The group is continue their world tour to Shanghai on April 14 and Jakarta on April 28 and 29.

Several thousands of people gathered early Saturday morning at the Twin Plaza Hotel, Jakarta causing traffic jam in the area. The large crowds of people are K-Pop fans who have gathered in the early morning to stand in line to purchase tickets for Super Junior ‘Super Show 4’ concerts.

The Super Junior tickets for April 28 and 29 at Mata Elang International Stadium are priced from 500,000 Rp to 1,700,000 Rp. Even though prices were a bit higher considering the local income still there was a long line of waiting outside for their turn. There were even 12 people that passed out while waiting in line which caused even police officers to be dispatched on scene requesting to the hotel management to move ticket sales inside the hotel lobby, according to Jakarta Globe.

There were still hundreds of fans demanding for more tickets, although 17,000 tickets were completely sold out by 3PM. The reasons fans were more angered was due to scalpers. Each person was only allowed to purchase a limit of four tickets and scalpers were offering tickets at double the cost of original ticket.

As dissatisfied fans expressed their complaints event promoter ShowMaxx Entertainment issued an official apology statement. However due to the ‘high demand’ and popularity of Super Junior concert among fans it seems the number of scalpers are not likely to decrease.

Unlike other Southeast Asian countries, Indonesia has higher popularity of K-Pop rather than Korea dramas. They have even recently begun their own K-Pop audition program on air.

Indosiar started to air ‘Galaxy Superstar’ as a joint collaboration between Korea and Indonesia since February. The program started with over 10,000 participants in five major cities all over Indonesia.

On April 11, Super Junior revealed the teaser video for their third Japanese single, “Opera.” The one-minute video gives a glimpse into the group’s upcoming Japanese MV, which has the Super Junior members appear as masqueraders. “Opera” is scheduled for release on May 9.

Meanwhile, Super Junior is currently running their “Super Show 4 Super Junior World (SS4)” tour concert. Following a successful show in Paris, they will perform in Shanghai and Jakarta before spending time in Sydney for a concert. You can learn more about it here.

The dream of numerous ELFs came true on April 6th in France as Super Junior performed their first solo concert in Paris: the Super Show 4. Since Super Junior’s first performance in Europe with the “SM Town in Paris” last June, their fans were eagerly waiting for their next show in France. The French Soompi team was there to review this amazing concert!

The concert began promptly at 8:00PM, and ELFs switched on their light sticks, transforming the place into a beautiful blue sea. As Super Junior stepped on stage with the first notes of “Superman”, the crowd cheerfully stood up. With a moving stage and large screens, the band had not minimized their efforts to charm their French and European audience.

The group then moved on to “Opera” and a rock version of “Bonamana” before introducing themselves in French. Ryeowook sang a few notes of the famous song “Aux Champs Elysées,” and Siwon timidly admitted “I missed you!”

After wrapping up their well-known title “Rokkugo”, the members performed some special stages. Sungmin, Kyuhyun and Ryeowook had chosen to perform American songs. As Sungmin was singing Ne-Yo’s “One in a Million”, Kyuhyun charmed the fans with Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely”; and Ryeowook captivated the crowd with the highly famous Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger”.

Eunhyuk surprised everyone while trying to imitate Zinédine Zidane, the French singers Raphaël and Christophe Maé, and even Mona Lisa. He then performed “What’s My Name?” followed by Leeteuk who walked down to the crowd to give dozens of roses to fans.

Then the members all came back to the stage and kicked into their famous songs “Acha”, “Mister Simple” and “Don't Don”; before giving the stage to their special guest The Grace, who performed “One More Chance”.

Moving into a more spiritual mood, Siwon stepped on stage with his guitar to perform “Your Grace is Enough.” With images of a church on large screens, he shared his faith in God to the audience. Captivating the fans with his powerful voice, Yesung set up an emotional mood with the ballad “For One Day”. Yet the atmosphere completely changed when Donghae and Eunhyuk jumped into "Oppa Oppa," driving the crowd crazy.

On "Our Love," thousands of fans waved large signs “We love you Super Junior” in different languages, creating a unique moment with their idols. The members were moved, and Leeteuk even shed tears, touched by their gesture.

The public refused to let the show draw to a close and chanted "encore!" The band stepped again on stage to perform the final songs “Sorry Sorry” and “Miracle”. Before leaving, the members addressed one last message to the crowd. The emotion was intense as the audience knew the show was ending after 3h40 of amazing stages.

Ryeowook, moved by the audience, sang again some notes of "Au Champs Elysées," and Kyuhyun asked fans, “Who wants to have a drink with me?” Yesung shouted "I love you! I will go back to Korea tomorrow. Let’s meet there!" Eunhyuk added, "Today you fall in love with us, didn’t you? Scream if you did!" Donghae said, "Yesterday night I didn’t sleep well. I dreamt that the concert hall was empty. I am really moved to see how many of you are here tonight. An eleven-hour trip is not that long, I will come again!”

Leeteuk finally announced the last song, "We felt all your love for us tonight, thank you. I love you!” On the first notes of the last song, he bowed several times, expressing respect for his fans.

More than a simple concert, every fan had the chance to live a unique experience during the numerous special stages. Every performance was animated by short movies broadcasted on large screens, in which the members were disguised into famous characters or parodying the Korean movie “Sunny”.

The nine boys, famous for their great fan service, didn’t disappoint their fans: walks in the crowd, distribution of roses, and even a topless Siwon. The crowd got even more captivated when Siwon and Eunhyuk chose their “wife” in the audience and brought them on stage. Eunhyuk had been categorical: his ideal wife has to be blond, sexy, and good at dancing!

Super Junior Members Photo Draws Attention For “Superior Genes”

Super Junior is also one of the older idol groups now, with over five years of experience together. Will Super Junior ever be able to break Shinhwa’s record?
Super Junior’s Leeteuk showed his respect for Shinhwa through a special message. On March 23, Leeteuk tweeted, “Shinhwa hyungnim! You guys are so awesome! We’ll do our best to love and care for each other, too! Be nervous! Super Junior is catching up to you guys!”

Shinhwa is the longest-running idol group in K-Pop with a 14 year history. Since their debut in 1998, Shinhwa has released countless hit singles, including “T.O.P.,” “Chaos,” and “Hey! Come On,” under SM Entertainment. They worked under the same label as Super Junior until 2003, when Shinhwa’s contract expired and signed with a new management agency.

On March 23, Super Junior’s Yesung shared a family photo with his father and brother, under the caption that read, “The guys in our family, with my father and younger brother. Are we superior?”

In the photo, Yesung is staring at the camera with his father and younger brother, who all have strikingly similar features. Fans have been particularly impressed by his good-looking family members, lauding them for having “superior genes.”

Netizens commented, “Yesung’s brother is daebak! Is he also a celebrity?” “They’re so cute. I love his younger brother,” and “How can brothers have such good-looking faces?”

In fact, this is not the first time Yesung revealed his younger brother. He took several photos with celebrities in the past and is also quite well-known among Super Junior fans that frequent Yesung’s coffee shop in Seoul (Yesung’s younger brother works there). You can learn more about Yesung’s coffee shop here!

Korea thirteen-member boy band Super Junior who has been the leading hallyu wave announced their world tour ‘Super Show 4’ last year.

The announcement coincided with release of fifth album ‘Mr. Simple’ which peaked at number three on the Billboard World Albums Chart and number 17 on Japan’s Oricon Album’s Chart.

With only 4 performances left to its finale at Tokyo Dome, it will be interesting to find out what will be their next step for the latter half of 2012.

The tour first began in Korea kicked off in November 19 which tickets sold out in just 8 minutes while some vendors reported 180 seconds. The tour has been scheduled over 7 countries for 19 performances for over 5 months.

It followed by performances in Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, China, and most recently in Thailand.

There were even additional concert dates that have been added in such as Macau and Thailand to comply with fans requests. Even became the first foreign artist to draw the largest number of audience of 40,000 for three days in Thailand.

Recently AVEX Group announced the group’s third Japanese single ‘Opera’ the remake of song taken from the fifth album, it is set to release on May 9 in Japan.

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk has been chosen as a special MC for MBC “Star Audition 2,” it was announced on March 23. His job will be to interview fans in the audience and provide coverage of the overall atmosphere of the live recording studio during the March 23 episode. There are only three contestants left for the show.

“We picked Eunhyuk as a one day MC based on his good sense of humor and witty demeanor that he developed over his long experience as a DJ and assistant MC,” MBC said in statement.

MBC “Star Audition 2” has been seeing its TV ratings decline lately. It’s been criticized for its lack of intensity and the shortcomings in the MC’s hosting skills. Park Mi Sun recently replaced the original host, Oh Sang Jin, however, the show has not lived up to the anticipation, especially compared to the huge success it enjoyed for its first season.

Also, MBC has taken note of the good chemistry between Yoon Do Hyun and Boom on SBS “K-Pop Star,” prompting the producers of “Star Audition 2” to find an emergency help to assist Park Mi Sun during the live show.

The top 3 competition of MBC “Star Audition 2” will air at 9:50 PM KST. Stay tuned for more updates!

The three-hour long concert promises to bring the entire original show from Seoul, which will showcase Super Junior’s famous dance moves that have created a worldwide craze, catchy songs that will prove that language is no barrier, and their familiar cheeky and charismatic antics that promises to entertain throughout the concert.

Super Junior’s world tour “Super Show 4” heated up Thailand for three days from March 16-19. The world tour was held in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and Macau so far.

The Thailand leg of the tour had a total of 40,000 viewers. Due to the popularity of the concert, one more concert day was added. This is the first time that a foreign singer or group held a concert that went on three times. Also, it is the most viewers that a foreign singer or group has amassed for a concert.

For the concert, Super Junior performed 36 songs which included their hit singles, album songs, and also solo performances.

Super Junior Debut And History

Super Junior is a popular Korean Boyband, and a thirteen member Korean boy band under the SM Entertainment label and production agency. Super Junior is one of the most popular Korean Boyband outside Korea besides Tohoshinki, SS501, or FT Island.

They debuted in 2005 with the single “TWINS (Knock Out)” as a twelve member group but added a thirteenth in May of 2006 with the release of their single U.

Super Junior’s popularity has spread across Asia and they have held concerts in such places as Thailand and Japan. Several of the members had previous jobs as VJs, actors and models previously, which helped to boost the group’s popularity. Super Junior is composed of 12 Korean members and 1 Chinese member.
The members are Leeteuk (the leader), Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kibum, and Kyuhyun. The Chinese member, Han Geng, was chosen among 3,000 applicants through auditions held in China by SM Entertainment in 2001. The group initially debuted with twelve members on November 6, 2005, but since the addition of Kyuhyun in May 23, 2006, they have become a thirteen-member group.

As of 2010, only 10 members are active, due to Han Geng’s ongoing lawsuit against SM Entertainment, Kibum’s pursuit of other interests, and Kang-in’s leave of absence for mandatory military service.
Since the late 1990s, Korean talent agency and record label SM Entertainment has been holding annual auditions to scout new talents that complemented the success of pop groups H.O.T, S.E.S, and Shinhwa, all of which were created by SM founder Soo-Man Lee in the mid 1990s. Leeteuk and Eunhyuk were the first two members of the group to be recruited in 2000 under SM’s Starlight Casting System in Seoul.

In 2001, the company held their first overseas casting auditions and discovered Han Geng in Beijing, who was chosen among three thousand applicants. That same year, Yesung was discovered under Seoul’s casting system with his friend HeeChul. Sungmin and Donghae were also selected to be trainees after their appearance in an SM-sponsored contest. In 2002, Heechul and Kangin was recruited along with Kibum, who was discovered in Los Angeles. Siwon was casted in 2003 and Ryeowook in 2004, in which the latter was discovered through the Chinchin Youth Festival singing competition. In 2005, Shindong was selected.

Not long after boy band TVXQ’s debut in 2003, news about Lee’s unprecedented plans of forming another boy band quickly spread on the Internet. In early 2005,Lee confirmed the news and announced that an all-boy project group of twelve members would debut near the end of the year, promoting this singing group to be “The Gateway to Stardom of Asia.” Lee announced that that most members in this group were chosen because of their performing experiences as actors, MCs, models, and radio hosts prior debut. Heechul and Kibum were already established entertainers, and most of the other members had already made various kinds of appearances on television and media. Highly inspired by the rotational concept of Japan’s girl group Morning Musume, this group would also experience line-up changes, with new members replacing some selected members every year to keep the group constantly young and all-rounded. This concept was then newly introduced to the K-pop market.

For a while the group was rumored to be called O.V.E.R, the acronym for “Obey the Voice for Each Rhythm.” However, before the group settled with their current name, SM simply referred to them as Junior, a representation of the members’ young ages when they first became SM trainees. After the members’
showcased their different talents to the company at a picnic, the company finalized their concept name to Super Junior. The group thereafter became officially Super Junior 05, the first generation of Super Junior.
Super Junior 05 made their pre-debut on the Korean channel Mnet on September 11, 2005. At the showcase, they performed various styles of hip hop dancing. The group danced to B2K’s “Take It To The Floor.” Han Geng, Eunhyuk, and Donghae also performed a separate dance away from the group, dancing to Usher’s “Caught Up.” However, the performance did not air on television until May 16, 2006 as a segment in the Super Junior Show, the group’s first television documentary.

Super Junior-K.R.Y
Super Junior-K.R.Y, established in November 2006, is a trio formed by Kyuhyun,
Ryeowook, and Yesung. The company discovered that these three members developed a particular personal
and subsequent fan-base that was separate from the rest of the group, and how they also had similar musical qualities.hey therefore grouped these three members together to perform particular songs to target a more mature audience. Being amongst the most vocally powerful members of the group, Super Junior-K.R.Y are credited to singing mournful, R&B-style ballads, a style that has proven very popular in recent years although stagnation in the style’s development is causing it to lose its once fresh evocative power.

Super Junior T
Super Junior-Trot (Korean: officially known as Super Junior-T (Korean: 슈퍼주니어-티) is the second official sub-unit of Korean boy band Super Junior. They are the first idol group known for capitalizing trot music, the oldest form of Korean pop music. the number one best-selling single of 2007, according to the Music Industry Association of Korea. In November 2008,the subgroup returned with a debut in the Japanese music industry, releasing the Japanese version of “Rokuko.”

Super Junior M

They are the first international music group in the Chinese music industry to have members of both Chinese and Korean descent, and are also the first group produced by Korea’s CT (Culture Technology) organization, created through a comprehensive localization strategy.Super Junior-M consists of Super Junior members Han Geng (the leader), Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook,Kyuhyun, and two non-Super Junior members, Henry and Zhou Mi.

Super Junior Is Our Imaginary Best Idol

Unlike in other country like US or even in Malaysia, entertainers in Korea is very widely open with their life. Their aim is to be as close as possible to the fans. They posting what are they doing everyday, what kinda clothes they are wearing now and everything. They are using many medium such as Twitter, mini hompy or even when the fans see them on the streets, they willingly letting their photo being taken by the fans. They also have very special relation with their fans and acknowledging them appropriately. The fans will name themselves, in the case of Super Junior, their official fans name is E.L.F abbreviation from Ever-Lasting-Friends. This culture never exist consistently in Malaysia.

During the fever of Akademia Fantasia long time ago, many obsess fans will gather among themselves to show support for their chosen student. But that never last long. Up until now I never heard any Siti Nurhaliza's fanclub officially, or even if they do, they didn't catch reporter's attention. Siti also seldomly mention them in any occasions. Different in Korea, especially for Super Junior, their fans playing a very very important role. They will mention E.L.F in most or can be said in each occasion. Whether when they win something, interview, concert or even in their Twitter or mini hompy. The existence of Super Junior is caused by never ending support from their fans whether an official one like E.L.F.

Agree or not, Super Junior is more loose compare to other idol. They have more freedom to express who they are. They are more enjoy to watch. If they've been invited in any programs, the MC won't be disappointed. They will entertain us and we may start to think they as our own best friends. We laugh at their action, we shed tears when story about Donghae's father pop out, we feel happy when Shindong reveal his upcoming marriage, starting to miss Kangin's big mouth or we start to wonder who will lead the boys after Leeteuk and Heechul enlisted in army.

Slowly they become our imaginary best friend, or start to talk about them in real life like we have live a day with them. Before this, only F.R.I.E.N.D.S can drag me to their world but now, I have another world to enter. Both Central Perk and this boys gimme a huge impact in my imaginary world. I thought nothing can beat F.R.I.E.N.D.S but Super Junior did it. These two phenomena sit at the same place in my Syahmi in Imaginary Land. But don't get me wrong. I'm not crazy, but imagination is good for our mental health. A good imagination will lead to a proper lifestyle.

I believe more on Heechul. He is one of the factor why people start to recognize Super Junior. He's so legendary until he can change the anti of him to be his fans. He's very honest in giving his opinion, something that be considered as taboo in Idol world in Korea. When he's receiving a compliment, he always agree with it while other idol will deny it. When been asked about a gossip, he won't save it only for him. He'll leak it to the media. Been rumored as gay, kissing his own SuJu brother, makin suicide statement, going out with many girls, posting his picture while wildly partying and so on and so forth. People might hate him, but eventually thanking him for his honesty in showing who is he himself. He's also the only idol that have courage to break many taboos. While many idol like to play safe, he comes with many charms, uniquely charms.

Yeah, they are the only insane group in this world bravely putting each members in different Sub-Unit. First with SUJU-K.R.Y, then they comes with SUJU-T, SUJU-M and SUJU-H refer to Kyuhun-Ryeowook-Yesung, Trot, Mandarin and Happy respectively. They tackle us with different kinda music produce by various concept. We will never-endingly explore their music. Not mentioning various of program whether they star in it or involve directly. After going with different Sub-Unit, surprisingly they made their world famous comeback with Sorry Sorry. After being apart for more than a year and a half, they manage to boom us with only one hit. This is what Super Junior is made of.

"Super Junior" Appears As A Word To Learn Korean In A Book

Super Junior's leader, Leeteuk, uploaded recently four pictures onto his Twitter account, each one of them showing pages from a Thai book displaying the word "Super Junior" as a way to learn the Korean Language.
But it looks like now we know who Hyorin’s partner is as local media reported she finished filming her episode with Super Junior’s Sung Min. An official from MBC told TV Report, “Sung Min and Hyorin finished recording their part for ‘Exciting Shake’ at the Nam San National Theater.”
Exciting Shake” will air during the Lunar New Year holidays. The concept of the show is similar to “We Got Married,” where celebrities are paired up with each other to create a simulated dating relationship.
The four phrases state: "Super Junior will go to Thailand tomorrow", "I like Super Junior's choreography", "I will wait for Super Junior" and "I wanna meet Super Junior soon".
He proudly stated: "The content in this Thailand's book for learning Korean language" and uploaded the four links at once.
A funny fact of his tweet is that he uploaded the four links in just one tweet with no spaces. So fans started teasing him saying things like: "Hey Ahjussi, use the space bar!", "Ahjussi, ahjussi, you don't know where's the space bar?" and also: "Cool!, I want that book too!" and "I thought at first that the link wasn't working, good way to save space eh?", the replies, caused a good laughter among fans and also showed how close are Suju's fans to their leader.
Good idea to use Super Junior as an example to learn Korean uh? Check out the pictures down below!

SJ's dance and musical style

As a whole, Super Junior has released five studio albums and one physical single, including occasional contributions to drama soundtracks. They are acclaimed for their vocal harmonization and unison as each member contributes a different position range in their music. Some members are credited for their vocal belting techniques.

Super Junior works closely with Yoo Young-jin, who has produced and arranged most of the group's promotional singles since debut. Yoo's also known for creating the renowned SMP style, a genre that includes a balanced infusion of rock, R&B, and rap, with complementing musical elements such as the electric guitar, bass, and other different percussion instruments. Super Junior has prominently used this SMP style in Don't Don.

Super Junior displayed a wide genre concept for each and every albums: they pursued bubblegum pop in SuperJunior05; ethereal and alternative rock in Don't Don; pop and contemporary R&B in Sorry, Sorry and Bonamana; and electropop and synthpop in Mr. Simple. The group has also covered few songs in their albums. Their debut single "Twins (Knock Out)" is a cover of Triple Eight's "Knockout," which was released in 2003. While the musical style is mostly maintained as the original, "Twins (Knock Out)" touches closer to rap rock, with quicker rap and more emphasis on the bass. In most of their covers, the original titles are kept. Examples include Cape's "L.O.V.E" and Exile's "Believe." However, most of these covers are re-arranged to different accompaniments, such as H.O.T's "Full of Happiness".

Super Junior are known for doing performances that are heavily centered around their choreography, and are acclaimed for their highly synchronized dances. The group's pre-debut performance was a hip hop dance and they have also joined B-boy battles and performances throughout their career.

Their dance styles are widely termed as street dancing, with a majority of their choreography containing hip hop dance moves such as popping, waving, floating, and liquid dancing. Dances in the form of martial arts are widely used in their dance routines as Han Geng and Sungmin are professionally trained in that area. Shindong was the main choreographer for "U" and for a majority of the group's other dance sequences. Eunhyuk choreographed the dance for "Boom, Boom" (Fourth Album) and also worked with the other members to create the dance choreography for "Don't Don" and "Marry U", both promotional singles for the group's second album. The dance for their hit single "Sorry, Sorry" was choreographed by Nick Bass and Trent Dickens, who has also worked with Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson. Nick Bass also choreographed the dance for "BONAMANA". The dance for "No Other" was choreographed by THE GEMINIZ, Rino Nakasone and Maryss From Paris. Super Junior M "Perfection" was choreographed by Misha Gabriel who had worked with other well known acts and choreographed Justin Timberlake's "Future Love Sex Show," Pussycat Dolls' "Doll Domination World Tour," "Dancing with the Stars" and more.

Super Junior

Super Junior has had some personnel changes that are interesting to say the least. Though the K-pop group originally consisted of 13 different performers, there are ten today.
Despite this, the three individuals who have moved on still claim to be members of the group. Kang-in had left the organization to fulfill his military service requirement. Kibum left because he wanted to pursue an acting career. Han Geng has left to return to his native China.
In fact, there have been several connections that Super Junior made in the People’s Republic of China, and these have been fraught with controversy and gossip. When the band announced they would start promoting in that county, there was a decent level of fan outrage.
A new subgroup, Super Junior-M, was formed that references the word Mandarin in the name. To protest the addition of new members, a fan website known as Only 13 popped up.
Some fans planned to boycott SM Entertainment’s products while others settled into a silent protest. There were even efforts to gain a controlling interest in the company to let fans plan Super Junior’s moves.
Fans had purchased 58,206 shares of stock in SM Entertainment by March 20, 2008. This represented only 0.3% of the company’s total volume, but the fans stated that they would use every change they got to prevent Super Junior from ending up with some extra members.
As if Super Junior hadn’t seen enough controversy, there was a disagreement with the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation over the time-slot that Kang-in would be appearing in.
In protest, MBC put a temporary ban on performances featuring other members of Super Junior on their network. Kang-in also ended up loosing his ability to MC events on Show! Music Core. These would ultimately go to T.O.P. of Big Bang.
A lawsuit over contract rights that involved Han Geng’s termination with SM Entertainment simply added more flame to the fire. To top it off, Han Geng had a number of performance restriction controversies. Add this to the news of a conflict during the Expo 2010, and fans have plenty to talk about between releases.
