The members display their unique charms and energetic performances in the album's title song Mr. Simple penned by Sorry Sorry and Bonamana composer Yoo Young Jin. Super Junior's fifth album also features the K.R.Y. ballad My Love, My Kiss, My Heart, Y composed by Dong Hae and One Way's Chance, and a remake of Jinu's nineties hit "Odd Imagination" (White Christmas).

슈퍼주니어, 정규 5집 ‘Mr. Simple’ B버전 8월 22일 발매!
한국을 넘어 전세계를 매료시킨 글로벌 한류의 주역, 슈퍼주니어의 정규 5집 ‘Mr. Simple’이 오는 8월 22일 B버전으로 새롭게 출시된다.
이번 앨범은 작년 5월 발표한 정규 4집 이후 약 1년 2개월 만에 출시되는 슈퍼주니어의 정규 앨범으로, 세계 각국에서 뜨거운 인기를 얻으며 한류 열풍 확산을 이끌고 있는 슈퍼주니어의 새로운 활동을 예고하고 있는 만큼 한국은 물론 아시아, 유럽, 미주, 남미, 아랍 등 전세계 음악 팬들의 폭발적인 반응이 기대된다.

With the recent report from Sohu.com claiming that SNSD members were a main factor for Hankyung wanting to leave Super Junior, SM Entertainment has released an official statement that the report was completely fabricated.
On the 27th, SM Entertainment stated:
"The reports regarding SNSD are completely false. It's extremely disappointing and upsetting that such a report would surface between the members of our own family."
In regards to Hankyung's absence on the December 26th year end MBC Music Core special:
"Hankyung is currently in China, most likely it will be difficult for him to attend year end shows."
